First of the Season Barra

Here's some photo's of a few barra caught in the Haughton

River. On Saturday 3rd of february 2001 . they were caught by Myself

Michael Black jnr. I caught 2 barramundi one was 59cm & one of 67cm

they took live prawn. My uncle Frank Moretti was up from Brisbane he

caught one 65cm which took a live mullet. My Brother John Black jnr.

He had to show us up and catch 4 Barramundi The smallest was 75cm

all going up in size to the biggest at 91cm on live mullet

 All the fish were in good condition. and hit the baits once and than

swallowed them. These fish where taken on the top & first hour of the

runout tide in pouring rain.
