31st of august 2002, a
new recreational fishing venture commenced at captain
red claw’s aquaculture
farm, allambie lane, kelso, townsville, North Queensland, Australia.

“catchinbarra” is catch and release. Experience this fantastic Fishing for only $16.50 per hour for adults and $11.00 for each fishing child. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. $5 will be charged for each additional person using the same rod as the paying person. Rods may be hired at a rate of $3 per session with lost or damaged lures to be paid for, at $10 each.
A bbq
area will be available for hire at a cost of $5.50
Barramundi fillets and red claw crayfish are on sale.
a selection of food, drinks, farm produce and souvenirs and keepsakes are
also available.
This picturesque setting is an ideal alternative for a function or somewhere to just sit back and relax to unwind after a hectic day or for a family outing destination.
The farm provides an opportunity for all weather fishing regardless of wind and tides and is situated no more than half an hour from anywhere in Townsville.
A brief or extended interlude of fishing can be enjoyed in a safe, hassle free environment, without the discomfort of seasickness or even wet feet.
A selection of food, drinks, farm produce and souvenirs are also available to purchase along with Barramundi Fillets and Red Claw Crayfish.
We

can bring your favorite rod and lures, however lures will be modified to be barb less
and be of one hook only.
